Project Assistant (PA), Horticulture at Rajiv Gandhi University

About the position

Rajiv Gandhi University invites applications for one temporary Project Assistant (PA) post in the Department of Horticulture. The post is in the ANRF IRG-funded project "Utilizing Fruit Waste for Sustainable Nanoparticle-Based Food Packaging in Arunachal Pradesh". The Principal Investigator is Dr. Thupten Tsomu, Assistant Professor. The initial tenure is 1 year.

Eligibility

• Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Science or 3-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology.
• Desirable: M.Sc. (Hort.) or Ph.D. (Hort.) in Fruit Science, Vegetable Science or Post-harvest Technology.
• Desirable: previous research experience in fruit crops.
• Desirable: familiarity with nanoparticle-based food packaging.

Fellowship / pay

• Monthly fellowship: 27000/only per month + HRA, as per the rule of the funding agency.
• Duration: initial appointment for 01 year, extendable till the completion of the project, based on performance.
• No TA/DA will be paid for the interview or for joining.
