Project Associate-I (PA-I), Life Sciences at CSIR-IIIM Jammu

About the position

CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM), Jammu invites applications for one Project Associate-I post in Life Sciences. The post is temporary and sits under the CCRUM-funded Project No. GAP-3204 on Safuf-e-Qaranfal mediated biogenesis of nanocomposites against antibiotic-resistant ESKAPE bacteria. The PI is Dr. Sumit G Gandhi, Scientist-G. The engagement is for one year or the project duration, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility

• Essential: M.Sc. / M. Pharm in Pharmacology / Biotechnology / Zoology or any other branch of Life Science from a recognised University. At least one year experience in cell culture techniques, ELISA, western blot, handling, dosing, and independent conduct of different in-vivo experiments in laboratory animals, with knowledge in biological sample collection, processing and data analysis.
• Upper age limit: 35 years. Relaxation as per Govt. of India rules. Age is reckoned on the last date of application.
• Candidates already engaged in a project at CSIR-IIIM need a No Objection Certificate before applying.

Fellowship / pay

₹25,000/- (consolidated) per month.
