Project Associate (PA), Botany or Biotechnology at CSIR-IIIM Jammu

About the position

CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM), Jammu invites walk-in applications for Project Associate-I (Position Code 04). The post is for botany or biotechnology, with a plant biochemistry or physiology focus. It is under the CSIR-IIIM ULIP project "Prospecting Biodiversity for Drug Discovery and Sustainable Development IIIM-BD (MLP002622)". One position is available.

Eligibility

• Essential: M.Sc. Botany/Biotechnology with practical experience in the area of plant biochemical or physiological functioning.
• Desirable: Candidates with R&D experience in plant systems using modern biotechnological methods.
• Upper age limit: 35 years, as on the date of interview. Relaxation as per Govt. of India rules.
• Qualifications are to be met as on the date of interview.

Fellowship / pay

• ₹31,000/- + HRA for those who qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE, or national level exams by Central Government departments such as DBT/DST or equivalent.
• ₹25,000/- + HRA for others.
• HRA is paid only if institutional accommodation is not availed or provided.
