Project Associate-II (PA-II), Life Sciences at ILS Bhubaneswar

About the position

BRIC-Institute of Life Sciences (BRIC-ILS), Bhubaneswar invites applications for the post of Project Associate-II in Life Sciences. The post is under the ICMR project "Role of Nuclear Receptor Co-repressor 1 (NCoR1) in Mycobacterium tuberculosis pathogenesis". The post is temporary and coterminous with the project. Only Indian nationals can apply.

Eligibility

• Master's degree in Natural/Agricultural Sciences, MVSc, or a bachelor's degree in engineering/technology/medicine (with variations for specific disciplines), alongside at least 2 years of post-Master's research experience.
• Qualification in national exams (CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or DBT/DST tests).
• Desirable: experience in NGS data analysis (RNAseq, single cell data) with some experience of handling wet lab experiments.

Fellowship / pay

• ₹35,000 per month + HRA for candidates with national-level exam qualifications.
• ₹28,000 per month + HRA for others.
• No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
