Project Associate (PA), Computer Science and Engineering at MNIT Jaipur

About the position

MNIT Jaipur invites applications for Project Associate posts in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. The posts are under the Information Security and Awareness Education Project Phase-III (ISEA-III). The project covers cybersecurity, formal program analysis, software testing and computing test bed development. The initial duration is one year. The number of posts is not stated.

Eligibility

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine, OR Master's degree in Natural / Agricultural Sciences / MVSc from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Desired skills: working knowledge of cybersecurity tools for static and dynamic analysis; office tools (document, spreadsheet, presentation); GenAI tools; excellent written and oral English communication.
• Experience: PA-I needs no minimum experience. PA-II needs two years' experience in R&D. Senior Project Associate (SPA) needs four years' experience in R&D.
• Candidates with no research experience but with a Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology / Pharma, or MD/MS, from a recognized university or equivalent may be considered for SPA.
• Depending on experience and qualifications, the selected candidate may be offered PA-I, PA-II or SPA.

Fellowship / pay

• PA-I: Rs 31,000 + HRA (GATE/UGC-NET) or Rs 25,000 + HRA
• PA-II: Rs 35,000 + HRA (GATE/UGC-NET) or Rs 28,000 + HRA
• SPA: Rs 42,000 + HRA
• HRA is as per Govt. of India norms.
• This is a temporary ad-hoc project post. The initial appointment is for six months and may be extended up to 1 year on satisfactory performance.
