Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Biotechnology at MNNIT Allahabad

About the position

MNNIT Allahabad invites applications for one Junior Research Fellow (on contract) in Biotechnology. The post is in a research project on an electronic tattoo (e-tattoo) as an electrically conductive dermal patch for diabetic foot ulcers. The project is funded by the Department of Health Research (DHR: SUG-2026-1524). The Principal Investigator is Dr. Ekta Srivastava and the Co-Investigator is Prof. Manisha Sachan. Tenure is 1 year, with extension based on performance.

Eligibility

• Master's degree (M.Sc., M. Pharm, M. Tech) in Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Biochemistry or other relevant branch with a minimum of 60%.
• A valid GATE / NET / Equivalent National level examination score.
• Desirable: hands-on experience with animal cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
• Upper age limit: 28 years on the last date of application for general and EWS. Relaxable up to 3 years for OBC (Non-creamy layer) and 5 years for SC/ST/PH and women candidates.
• Indian nationals only.

Fellowship / pay

₹37,000/- per month (Consolidated).
