Project Associate-I (Project Associate), Mechanical Engineering at Tezpur University

About the position

Tezpur University invites applications for one temporary Project Associate-I position in Mechanical Engineering. The post is in the IITG-TIDF sponsored project "Underwater Plastic Management for synthetic fuel production using pyrolysis". The Principal Investigator is Dr. Shikha Bhuyan, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Eligibility

• Essential qualification: B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering/Allied area.
• Candidates having relevant research/project experience will be given preference.
• Age: not more than 35 years as on the date of interview.
• Those in employment or doing Ph.D. must submit a No Objection Certificate from the employer or Ph.D. supervisor.

Fellowship / pay

• Emolument: ₹25,000/- (Rupees twenty-five thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month.
• Duration: up to 31 Mar 2027 or till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

1. Appear before the Interview Board at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tezpur University, Napaam, Tezpur, at 10.00 a.m. on 31 Oct 2026.
2. Carry original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets and certificates from 10th standard onwards, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if any) and other testimonials.
3. Carry a recent signed Curriculum Vitae and the application in the prescribed format (Annexure-I).
