Junior Research Fellow (JRF), DST Technology Enabling Centre at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya

About the position

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur invites applications for one post of Junior Research Fellow-I (JRF-I). The post is under the DST-Technology Enabling Centre (TEC), funded by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. The appointment is purely temporary and contractual, and co-terminus with the project. The work covers technology transfer, innovation, IPR and entrepreneurship support.

Eligibility

• Essential: UG degree in a relevant field (such as Engineering, Sciences, Management, or related disciplines) from a recognised University/Institute, with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Desirable: Master's degree in a relevant field or discipline.
• Desirable: experience in technology development, technology transfer, innovation management, IPR, startup and entrepreneurship ecosystem, incubation, industry liaison, project management and technology commercialisation.
• Desirable: good communication, report writing, documentation, coordination and organisational skills.
• Desirable: research or project experience in academic institutions, research organisations, innovation centres or incubation centres.
• Desirable: experience in handling Government-funded projects or schemes.

Fellowship / pay

Consolidated salary Rs. 32,000 per month fixed. Tenure is initially six months or till completion of the project, extendable based on project requirements.
