Project Assistant I (PA-I), Life Sciences at IASST Guwahati

About the position

The Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Guwahati is hiring one Project Assistant I in Life Sciences. The post is under the DBT Ramalingaswami Re-entry project on the virulence mechanism of Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus on citrus and disease control strategies. The initial appointment is for one year and is co-terminus with the project. Selection is by walk-in interview.

Eligibility

• Essential: Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or Botany from a recognized university.
• Desirable: Master's degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Plant Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or Botany from a recognized university.
• Age limit: 28 years, with relaxation as per GOI guidelines.

Fellowship / pay

Stipend of Rs 27,000.00 per month (consolidated). No TA/DA is provided for attending the interview.
