Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Mathematics at IISER Berhampur

About the position

IISER Berhampur invites applications for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post in Mathematics. The post is under the ANRF-funded project "Nonlocal singular problems in the Heisenberg group". The Principal Investigator is Dr. Prashanta Garain, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematical Sciences. The engagement is for one year, extendable.

Eligibility

• M.Sc degree in Mathematics.
• Qualified GATE or CSIR-UGC NET.
• Job requirement: basic knowledge of Partial Differential Equations.

Fellowship / pay

• ₹37,000/- + HRA as applicable (as per ANRF norms) per month.
• Period of engagement: one year from the date of joining, subject to availability and release of funds under the project. May be extended subject to the incumbent's progress and performance, and availability and release of project funds.
