Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Chemistry at IISER Tirupati

About the position

IISER Tirupati invites applications for one post of Junior Research Fellow / Project Associate-I in Chemistry. The post is under a STARS (Govt. of India) funded project on chiral light emission from functional molecules and supramolecular assemblies, for circularly polarized organic light emitting devices. The Principal Investigator is Dr. Jatishkumar and the project code is 30523158. The initial offer is for four months and the post is co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility

• Essential: M.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent degree.
• Desirable: experience in organic/nanoparticle synthesis and their self-assembly.
• Age: not more than 30 years as on the closing date of the advertisement.
• Open to Indian nationals. Candidates awaiting final examination results are not eligible.

Fellowship / pay

• Rs. 31,000/- + 8% HRA per month based on valid CSIR / UGC-JRF / NET / GATE / qualified national level test conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies.
• Rs. 25,000/- + 8% HRA per month for others who do not fall under the above.
