About the position

IIT Dharwad maintains a rolling advertisement for Project Associate-I positions under R&D and sponsored projects, open across its ten departments: Biosciences and Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Mathematics, Mechanical Materials and Aerospace Engineering, and Physics. Candidates apply once and are drawn from a standing database whenever a project needs a Project Associate-I. The tenure is co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility

Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognised University or equivalent. Upper age limit 35 years.

Fellowship / pay

₹31,000 plus HRA for scholars selected through National Eligibility Test, CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship), or GATE, or an equivalent national level examination; ₹25,000 plus HRA for others not falling under that category. As per DST OM no. SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10 July 2020.
