Project Assistant (PA), Petroleum Engineering at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad

About the position

IIT (ISM) Dhanbad invites applications for a Project Assistant (PA) in a sponsored project funded by ESSAR Oil and Gas Ltd. The work is in the Department of Petroleum Engineering. The Principal Investigator is Dr. Keka Ojha. The project runs for two years or till the end of the project. The PA will help with prospect evaluation of the field through evaluation of borehole samples and other work assigned by the PI/Co-PIs.

Eligibility

• BTech/BE in Petroleum Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Environmental Science & Engineering/Geology, or BSc in Chemistry/Geology, with more than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA/OGPA from a recognised Institute/University under a regular programme.
• Upper age limit is 28 years at the time of appointment. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/Female candidates as per GOI/DST rules.

Fellowship / pay

Rs. 25000/- per month.
