Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Chemistry at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad

About the position

IIT (ISM) Dhanbad invites applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Chemistry. The post is under the DST-TDT sponsored project on creation of nodal centers for the production of imported APIs, KSMs and intermediates. The Principal Investigator is Dr. Parthasarathi Das, Professor, Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology. The job involves synthesis of API, drug molecules and Key Starting Material (KSM).

Eligibility

• Essential: M.Sc in Chemistry with more than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA/OGPA in Master Degree.
• Desirable: NET/GATE qualified or national level examinations conducted by GOI agencies/institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DRDO, ICMR, IIT, IISc, TISER etc.
• Candidates who do not fall under the above will be considered/designated as Project Associate-I with monthly emoluments as per DST rules.
• Desirable: 0-2 year research experience in Organic Synthesis/Process Chemistry.
• Age limit: 28 years at the time of appointment. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/Female candidates as per GOI/DST rules.

Fellowship / pay

Rs 37,000/Month
