Project Assistant (PA), Petroleum Engineering at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad

About the position

IIT (ISM) Dhanbad invites applications for a Project Assistant (PA) in a project sponsored by ESSAR Oil and Gas Ltd. The work is in the Department of Petroleum Engineering under Principal Investigator Dr. Keka Ojha. The project objective is prospect evaluation of the field under study through physico-chemical and petrographic evaluation of borehole samples. Tenure is two years or till the end of the project.

Eligibility

• BTech/BE in Petroleum Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Environmental Science & Engineering/Geology, or BSc in Chemistry/Geology, with more than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA/OGPA from a recognized Institute/University under a regular programme.
• Upper age limit is 28 years at the time of appointment. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/Female candidates as per GOI/DST rules.

Fellowship / pay

Rs. 25000/- per month.
