Project Associate-II (PA-II), Electrical Engineering at IIT Kharagpur

About the position

IIT Kharagpur invites applications for one Project Associate-II post in the Department of Electrical Engineering. The post is under the project "Development of high-power Grid-friendly Conductive and Static Wireless Chargers for Electric Vehicles (PSV)". The Principal Investigator is Suman Maiti. The project is sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF). Tenure is 24 months or the termination of the project, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility

• All through 1st class with marks higher than 60 percent, starting from class X to the last degree received.
• B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) with two years experience in R&D in industrial or academic institutions or Science and Technology Organizations, OR M.E. / M.Tech./MS in Power Electronics/Machine Drives or Energy Science or any other relevant specializations.
• GATE score is mandatory.
• Age limit: 40.
• Work: development of power electronic converters for fast EV charging stations, covering design, simulation and hardware verification. The project allows the candidate to pursue higher studies (MS/PhD).

Fellowship / pay

Upto Rs.42000 (depending upon qualification & experience). Application fee: NIL.
