Project Assistant (PA), Agricultural and Food Engineering at IIT Kharagpur

About the position

IIT Kharagpur invites applications for one Project Assistant (Research) post. The post is in the Department of Agricultural and Food Engineering. It is a sub-project of the Moodies Food and Beverage Innovation Hub, on an AI-integrated personalised ice cream recommendation system and dispensing machine (SBS). The Principal Investigator is Ronit Mandal. The tenure is 24 months or the termination of the project, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility

• Essential: Bachelor's degree in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Food Process Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or related disciplines. Hands-on skills in dairy/food product processing and analysis.
• Desirable: Basic familiarity with data handling/AI tools/CAD/Simulation. Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Age limit: 35.

Fellowship / pay

Upto Rs.25500 (depending upon qualification & experience).
