Project Associate II (PA-II), Life Sciences at NIAB Hyderabad

About the position

BRIC-National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (BRIC-NIAB), Hyderabad, invites applications for one Project Associate II post. The post is under a DBT-funded project titled "Experimental Validation of Natural Products from Selected Medicinal Plants of Northeast Region as Ectoparasiticides". The Principal Investigator is Dr. Anand Srivastava, Scientist-E. The duration is one year, extendable on satisfactory performance.

Eligibility

• (i) Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, MVSc, or bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and
• (ii) 2 years' experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services.
• Age: 35 years.
• Desired experience: natural product chemistry, Soxlation, isolation and characterization of active molecules from a plant source, HPTLC, HPLC, etc. will be given preference.
• Only a Provisional Degree Certificate or Convocation Degree Certificate is accepted as proof of educational qualification. Experience certificates must be issued by the Head of the Department/Office.

Fellowship / pay

Rs. 28,000/- + HRA (If applicable).
