Project Associate-I (PA-I), Chemistry and Biotechnology at CSIR-CSMCRI Bhavnagar

About the position

CSIR-CSMCRI Bhavnagar invites applications for Project Associate-I (PAT-I) in Chemistry, Biotechnology and related fields. The post is in the CSIR-sponsored MMP project "Region Specific Smart Agrotech (MMP025303)", funded by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi. There are 3 posts. The engagement is for one year, co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility

• M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Agriculture or Botany from a recognised university.
• OR B.E. or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or Industrial Biotechnology from a recognised university.
• Maximum age: 35 years. Age relaxation as per CSIR rules.
• Desirable: research experience in organic synthesis or soil analysis, and experience in machine learning. Competency in organic synthesis, soil sample analysis and data analysis is preferred.
• Higher pay applies to candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET (including lectureship/assistant professorship), GATE, or national level examinations conducted by Central Government agencies such as DBT or DST.

Fellowship / pay

• Rs.31,000/- + HRA (as applicable) for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET incl. lectureship/assistant professorship, GATE, or national level examinations conducted by Central Governments like DBT/DST or equivalent.
• Rs.25,000/- + HRA (as applicable) for others.
• No TA/DA is provided for attending the interview.
