Academic Associate (AA), Multiple Disciplines at IIM Calcutta

About the position

IIM Calcutta invites applications for the post of Academic Associate (AA) to assist Institute faculty members in their academic work. The role is open across disciplines including Management, Social Sciences (preference to Psychology and Sociology), Economics, Finance, Mass Communication, Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics. The engagement is initially for one year and may be extended annually by up to two more years based on performance and Institute requirement. The notice does not state a fixed number of posts.

Eligibility

Post Graduation or equivalent in Management, Social Sciences (preference would be given to Psychology, Sociology), Economics, Finance, Mass Communication, Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics. Candidates pursuing Doctoral Programs/Ph.D. can also apply. Candidate should have minimum 60% marks throughout. Age limit: not more than 30 years as on date of application.

Fellowship / pay

A consolidated stipend of Rs. 34,000/- per month will be paid. Stipend will be revised annually based on performance as per Institute rules. Other benefits include library membership, computer services, attending courses of preference, staff canteen facility, transport facility, and access to the Medical Unit on campus.
