Junior Project Assistant (Tech.), Energy Science and Engineering at IIT Delhi

About the position

IIT Delhi invites applications for a Junior Project Assistant (Tech.) in the Department of Energy Science & Engineering. The post is on a sponsored project on mitigating foaming in flue gas desulfurization absorber units due to biomass co-firing in thermal power plants (RM0081G). The PI is Prof. S.K. Tyagi. The project runs for 18 months w.e.f. 1 Apr 2026.

Eligibility

B.Tech/Diploma (Thermal/Mechanical/Energy/Chemical) or MSc (Chemistry/Chemical/Physics) with minimum 75% marks. Preferably some experience in project and R&D related work. 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates.

Fellowship / pay

₹30,000 pm (Consolidated). Appointment is on contract, renewable yearly or up to the project duration, whichever is earlier.
