Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Chemistry at IIT Indore

About the position

IIT Indore invites applications for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post in a DRDE-DRDO funded project. The project is titled "MXene-based degradation of life-threatening chemicals and toxic industrial gases". It is based in the Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science department. The appointment is for 30 months and is co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility

• M.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics/Materials Science/Nanoscience OR M.Tech. in Materials Science and Engineering/Nanotechnology or equivalent discipline (with 1st division as defined by the awarding Institute/University).
• A candidate who has qualified GATE or NET-LS or NET-PhD will be preferred.

Fellowship / pay

• 37,000 /- per month + 16 % HRA (As per Institute/Govt. Rules)
• The selected candidate will be encouraged to register for the PhD program at IIT Indore as per institute norms.
• If selected for the PhD program, a fellowship will be extended for PhD duration as per institute norms.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
