Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Electrical Engineering at IIT Kanpur

About the position

IIT Kanpur invites applications for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in Electrical Engineering. The post is under the project "Developing Indigenous Gravity Energy Storage Technology". It sits in the Department of Electrical Engineering. The appointment is for one year, with provision of renewal for subsequent years.

Eligibility

• Essential: B.Tech. Electrical Engineering / M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering/Renewables/Power Systems and GATE-qualified candidates.
• Preferred: Experience in research in the field of power systems, electrical energy storage and relevant fields.
• Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualification and work experience will not be informed or called for the interview.

Fellowship / pay

Consolidated salary of Rs. 37000/- per month. The post is purely temporary and on contractual basis. If the interview is offline, no TA/DA will be paid.
