Research Associate (RA), Electrical Engineering at IIT Kanpur

About the position

IIT Kanpur invites applications for one Project Scientist-II post (listed here as Research Associate) in the Department of Electrical Engineering. The post is in the project "Automated System for Cybersecurity Policies, Assessments, Audits, Ranking and Incident Response (IR)". The role covers backend APIs, AI/LLM integration and full-stack engineering. The post is purely temporary and project-based for 1 year.

Eligibility

• Doctoral degree in Science, or Master's degree in Engineering or Technology, from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in Research and Development in industrial or academic institutions, or in Science and Technology organizations, including scientific activities and services.
• Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications and experience will not be notified or called for interview.

Fellowship / pay

₹67,000/- per month + HRA (as per MeitY norms). Duration: 1 year.
