Research Associate (RA), Life Sciences at IIT Kanpur

About the position

IIT Kanpur invites applications for one temporary Research Associate III position in Life Sciences. The post is in the laboratory of GPCR Biology, Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering. The contact faculty member is Dr. Arun K Shukla. The position is temporary, initially for one year.

Eligibility

• Minimum qualification: Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences.
• Desirable work experience: Prior experience in protein biochemistry and molecular biology techniques, cell culture assays, expression and purification of proteins, and cellular signaling are required. Hands-on experience with X-ray crystallography or cryo-EM is preferred but not essential.
• Applicants who do not meet the minimum eligibility criteria and desirable work experience will not be called for the interview.

Fellowship / pay

• Salary: INR 67000/-pm.
• The position is purely temporary, initially for one year. It can be extended based on performance till the duration of the project.
