Research Associate (RA), Life Sciences at Bose Institute Kolkata

About the position

Bose Institute, Kolkata invites walk-in applications for one Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) post, treated here as Research Associate. The post is in the ICMR sponsored project "A pharmacophore-optimized Asp855-targeted novel EGFR modulator (AKJ-17) designed to overcome resistance and deliver safer, durable cancer therapy". The Principal Investigator is Dr. Kuladip Jana, Department of Biological Sciences. The project is tenable up to 21.09.2027 and may be extended. The post is co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility

Essential qualification:

1. First Class Post Graduate degree including the Integrated Post Graduate Degree, OR
2. Second Class Post Graduate degree including the Integrated Post Graduate Degree with PhD, OR
3. For Engineering/IT/CS: First Class Graduate Degree of four years.

Desirable: Ph.D. degree in the related field/subject with experience in the relevant research areas.

Age limit: Below 35 years (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates only, as per rule).

Fellowship / pay

Rs.56,000/- p.m. plus 30% HRA.
