Project Associate-II (PA-II), Life Sciences at NABI Mohali

About the position

One Project Associate-II (PA-II) position is open in the Food and Nutritional Biotechnology division at BRIC-NABI, Mohali, for the project "Genome editing in Indian Mustard (Brassica juncea)" (EP-11). The Principal Investigator is Dr. Sivasubramanian R, Scientist-D. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, with possible yearly extension for up to two more years after evaluation.

Eligibility

Four-year Bachelor's degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, or Master's degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, or BVSc, BPharm, or Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine from a recognised university or equivalent. Must also have qualified CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship), GATE, or an equivalent national level examination conducted by a Central Government department or agency. Two years of R&D experience in industrial, academic or S&T organizations also required. Age limit 40 years, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PD and women candidates as per GOI instructions.

Fellowship / pay

Rs. 42000/- per month plus HRA (as per ANRF OM No. ANRF/OM/N-01/2024 dated 14.10.2024).
