Senior Project Associate (SPA), Life Sciences at NABI Mohali

About the position

One Senior Project Associate (SPA) position is open in the Food and Nutritional Biotechnology division at BRIC-NABI, Mohali, for the project "Genome editing in hexaploid wheat for trait improvement" (EP-10). The Principal Investigator is Dr. Ajay K. Pandey, Scientist-G. The position is purely temporary, initially for one year or co-terminus with the project, with possible yearly extension for up to two more years after evaluation.

Eligibility

Four-year Bachelor's degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/Biotechnology, or Master's degree in Life Science/Natural or Agricultural Sciences/Biotechnology, or Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine, with four years of R&D experience in industrial, academic or S&T organizations. OR Master's degree in Engineering or Technology (including biotechnology) with two years of such R&D experience. Desirable experience in agricultural biotechnology, molecular biology, plant biotechnology, genome editing or wheat improvement, supported by publications. Age limit 40 years, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PD and women candidates as per GOI instructions.

Fellowship / pay

Rs. 57820/- per month plus HRA.
