Project Associate, Life Sciences at NABI Mohali

About the position

BRIC-NABI Mohali is recruiting one Project Associate in Life Sciences under the DBT-funded project on disease resistance in Brassica carinata and Brassica juncea (GAP-114), led by Principal Investigator Dr. Sivasubramanian R in the Food and Nutritional Biotechnology Division. The appointment is initially for one year and may continue till project completion, subject to funds.

Eligibility

Master's degree from a recognised University/Institute in Life Sciences/Agricultural Science/Biotechnology or any allied subjects. OR Master's degree in the same subjects selected through National Eligibility Tests, CSIR-UGC-NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship), and GATE, through national level examinations conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies/institutions such as DST, DBT, ICMR.

Fellowship / pay

Rs. 31,000/- per month plus HRA, or Rs. 25,000/- per month plus HRA, as per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z08/2018 dated 30.01.2019, depending on the qualification route. Age limit 35 years, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PD as per GOI instructions.
