Assistant Professor Grade II (On Contract), Civil Engineering and Economics at NIT Mizoram

About the position

NIT Mizoram invites applications for Assistant Professor Grade II (on 10 contract) under its faculty recruitment on mission mode. The posts are in Civil Engineering and in BS&HSS (Economics). There are 2 posts in total, 1 in each department. Both are unreserved (UR).

Eligibility

• Applicants must be Indian nationals.
• Educational qualifications, experience and selection criteria are as per Schedule E of the Statutes of NITs (Gazette of India No. 651 dated 24.07.2017) and the First Statutes of the NITs (Amendment) Statutes, 2023.
• Age, qualifications, experience and publications are counted as on the last date, 30 Nov 2026.
• Reservations for SC/ST/OBC/EWS apply as per Government of India orders.
• Candidates whose most recent degree (PhD) is from NIT Mizoram are normally not considered, unless there is a 3 year gap before the last date.

Fellowship / pay
