Project Associate (PA), Physics at NIT Silchar

About the position

NIT Silchar invites applications for one Project Associate-I in the Department of Physics for an ANRF sponsored project titled "Exploring novel transport induced by quantum geometry in unconventional superconductors". The post is temporary, initially for 2 months and extendable until project completion subject to funds and performance review. Candidates with CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE are preferred, though others may also apply.

Eligibility

Applications are invited from Indian citizens. Relaxation in qualification and age as per Govt. of India rules.

Fellowship / pay

(i) Rs.37,000/- + HRA for scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests, CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE, or through a national level examination conducted by Central Government Departments/Agencies/Institutions.

(ii) Rs.30,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i). HRA as per Project/Institute norms.
