Project Associate-I (PA-I), Electronics at CSIR-CGCRI Kolkata

About the position

CSIR-Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute, Kolkata, invites applications for one Project Associate-I (PA-I). The post is for the project OLP2306, Flexible Biomimetic Sensors-based Point-of-Care Testing for Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction. The tenure is initially 1 year, extendable up to 31.03.2031 based on availability of funds. Selection is by walk-in interview.

Eligibility

• Essential: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engg./Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Instrumentation Engg./Mechatronics/Robotics/Instrumentation Engg, or M.Sc in Physics/Chemistry/Electronics Sciences/Instrumentation Science.
• Desirable: Experience in Digital Signal Processing/Embedded Systems/Spin coating.
• Age limit: 35 years as on the date of interview. Relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped and Female candidates, and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy layer) candidates.
• Candidates with NET (Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE, or other national level examinations conducted by Central Government departments such as DBT/DST, fall in the higher stipend category.
• Candidates with results awaited are not eligible.
• Candidates already engaged in a project must provide an NOC from the present Project Leader.
• Bonafide Indian citizens only.

Fellowship / pay

• Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for candidates who do not fall under the NET/GATE category.
• The stipend for the NET/GATE category is not readable in the notice text.
