About the position

IIM Ahmedabad invites applications for faculty positions (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor) from outstanding scholars in all fields of management. This is a standing, continuous call for faculty recruitment on the Ahmedabad campus, not tied to a single department. Candidates with a PhD or those about to complete one may apply to any of the Institute's Areas, Centres and Schools. The notice also mentions a Special Drive for Reserved Category candidates alongside Regular Recruitment.

Eligibility

Assistant Professor: PhD or equivalent with a strong academic background; experience desirable but not essential; those about to complete their doctorate may also apply.

Associate Professor: PhD or equivalent with a successful research and publication record and a minimum of 6 years of teaching or research experience, of which at least 6 years at the Assistant Professor level at an institution of repute.

Professor: PhD or equivalent with a successful research and publication record and a minimum of 10 years of teaching or research experience, of which at least 6 years at the Associate Professor level at an institution of repute.

Fellowship / pay

Professor: Pay level 15 (INR 1,82,200 to 2,24,100) or Pay level 14A (INR 1,59,100 to 2,20,200).

Associate Professor: Pay level 13A2 (INR 1,39,600 to 2,11,300).

Assistant Professor: Pay level 13A1 (INR 1,31,400 to 2,04,700) or Pay level 12 (INR 1,01,500 to 1,67,400).

Plus allowances and superannuation benefits as per Government of India norms. Faculty may also undertake consulting as per Institute norms.
