Assistant Professor (AP-II), Management, Law, Psychology, Mathematics, Computer Science at IIM Kozhikode

About the position

Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode invites applications for Assistant Professor, Grade II, across several areas: Strategic Management (Strategy), Finance, Accounting and Control (Management Accounting), Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources (Human Resource Management), Humanities and Liberal Arts in Management (Corporate Law, Psychology), Decision Sciences and Operations Management (Mathematics), and Information Systems (Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence). This grade is open to fresh PhD holders or those with less than three years of post-PhD experience, appointed initially on a contract basis at Pay Level 10 or 11 depending on experience, with later regularization as per Institute rules. Seminar and interview will be held at the Kozhikode or Kochi campus.

Eligibility

Minimum Ph.D. or equivalent degree in appropriate subjects with first class or equivalent (overall 60 percent or above) at the preceding degree and with excellent academic record throughout. For Assistant Professor (Grade II), candidates must be a significant contributor in at least one published journal in their area of specialization classified as A (or above) per the latest ABDC ranking, 3 (or above) per the latest ABS ranking, or Q1 or Q2 per the latest Web of Science ranking. Fresh Ph.D. holders and those with less than three years of teaching or equivalent research or industrial experience may apply. PhD must be from a recognised university or deemed university, or an approved autonomous institution ranked in at least one of Financial Times Global Rankings, QS World University Rankings (desirably top 500), THE World University Rankings (desirably top 500), or NIRF Rankings (desirably top 50 in Management, Overall, University, Research, Engineering or Law).

Fellowship / pay

Academic Pay Level 10 or 11 on a contract basis, subject to regularization as per Institute rules.
