Assistant Professor (AP-I), Management, Law, Psychology, Mathematics, Computer Science at IIM Kozhikode

About the position

Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode invites applications for Assistant Professor, Grade I, on a regular basis across several areas: Strategic Management (Strategy), Finance, Accounting and Control (Management Accounting), Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources (Human Resource Management), Humanities and Liberal Arts in Management (Corporate Law, Psychology), Decision Sciences and Operations Management (Mathematics), and Information Systems (Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence). This is a regular faculty post at Pay Level 12 or 13A1, open to candidates with post-PhD teaching or research experience. Seminar and interview will be held at the Kozhikode or Kochi campus.

Eligibility

Minimum Ph.D. or equivalent degree in appropriate subjects with first class or equivalent (overall 60 percent or above) at the preceding degree and with excellent academic record throughout. For Assistant Professor (Grade I), candidates must have at least one journal publication in their area of specialization in a journal classified as A (or above) in the latest ABDC journal ranking, or 3 (or above) in the latest ABS journal ranking. Q1 as per the latest Web of Science journal ranking may be considered in lieu of ABDC/ABS for candidates applying in Corporate Law, Psychology, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science. Minimum 3 years of teaching or equivalent research or industrial experience post-PhD is required. PhD must be from a recognised university or deemed university, or an approved autonomous institution ranked in at least one of Financial Times Global Rankings, QS World University Rankings (desirably top 500), THE World University Rankings (desirably top 500), or NIRF Rankings (desirably top 50 in Management, Overall, University, Research, Engineering or Law).

Fellowship / pay

Academic Pay Level 12 / 13A1.
