Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Life Sciences at IIT Delhi

About the position

IIT Delhi invites applications for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post on project RM00034G_SN. The Principal Investigator is Prof. Amit Nain, School of Biological Sciences. The appointment is contractual with consolidated pay. It is renewable yearly or up to the project duration, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility

• 1st class BTech/MSc/MTech in biotechnology/biomedical/materials/mechanical/electrical or allied fields of science and engineering with NET/GATE.
• The NET/GATE requirement may be relaxed for candidates who graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).
• 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to SC/ST candidates.
• Applications are invited from Indian nationals.

Fellowship / pay

• Jr. Research Fellow (1 post): Rs.37,000/- p.m. plus HRA @27%.
• A retired or superannuated government employee will have salary fixed as per prevailing IRD norms.
