About the position

IIT Guwahati invites applications for one Research Scientist-I post, listed here as Research Associate, in Life Sciences. The post is in the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering. It is for the project "Understanding the host metabolome to formulate effective diagnostics against dengue virus infection". The Principal Investigator is Sachin Kumar. The appointment is for 5 months.

Eligibility

• First class PG degree, including integrated PG degree.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, virology, recombinant DNA technology and immunology related work will be preferred.

Fellowship / pay

• Pay recommended: Rs. 56,000
• HRA: Rs. 11,200
• Medical: Rs. 1,250
• Total amount: Rs. 68,450
• Duration: 5 months
• No campus accommodation for selected candidates.
• No TA/DA for appearing in the test and interview.
