Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Computer Science at IIT Guwahati

About the position

IIT Guwahati invites applications for one Senior Research Fellow (Direct) post. The post is in the project "Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Systems Coupled Compact Single Image Dehazing Network Based Approach for Image Enhancement". The project is at the Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. The Principal Investigator is Teena Sharma. The appointment is for 11 months.

Eligibility

JRF(GATE) + 2 years of research experience in the area for the development of deep learning algorithms for real-time computer vision applications.

JRF(GATE) qualifications are: Post Graduate degree in basic science or Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:

1. Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test, CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
2. The selection process through national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DoS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc, IISER etc.

Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview.

Fellowship / pay

• Recommended pay: Rs. 42,000.00
• HRA: Rs. 8,400.00
• Medical: Rs. 1,250.00
• Total: Rs. 51,650.00 per month
• Duration: 11 months
