Project Assistant, Hydro and Renewable Energy at IIT Roorkee

About the position

IIT Roorkee invites applications for one Project Assistant post in the Department of Hydro and Renewable Energy. The post is for a sponsored project on a filament wound Type 4 composite cylinder for storing compressed natural gas in cascades. The Principal Investigator is Dr. Pranjali Sharma. The sponsor is Raj Process Equipments and Systems Pvt Ltd, Pune. The duration is 1 year.

Eligibility

• Indian nationals only.
• B. Tech (Mech. Engg.) having working experience in fiber reinforced polymer matrix composite material handling, design for assembly and manufacturing proficiency, meshing and simulations on analytical software (Ansys, Altair HyperMesh).
• Hands-on experience in VARTM, Autoclave and Out-of-Autoclave processes, design and manufacturing of composite molds.
• Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.

Fellowship / pay

Rs. 26,000/- to 57,000/- + HRA. Duration: 1 year. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
