Research Associate (RA), Life Sciences at Visva-Bharati

About the position

Visva-Bharati has advertised 2 posts of Project Research Scientist - I (Non-Medical) in the Department of Biotechnology. The posts are for an ICMR-funded project titled "HHV-4 latent proteins-mediated metabolic reprogramming of B-cells during cellular transformation". The Principal Investigator is Prof. Tathagata Choudhuri. The tenure is 36 months or until the project ends, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility

• Essential: Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees, in Life Science / Biotechnology / Environment and relevant subjects.
• Desired experience: at least one year of experience in cellular and molecular virology, cell culture, animal (mouse) handling and data analytics skills.

Fellowship / pay

As per the Project Research Scientist - I (Non-Medical) scale of ICMR, Govt. of India: Rs. 56000/- per month plus admissible HRA as per ICMR rules.
