About the position

CSIR-CCMB, Hyderabad invites applications for Project Research Scientist-I (Non-medical) on a contract basis. The area is mouse embryology, mouse reproductive biology and stem cell biology. There is 1 position, post code 011026B-01. The project is "Optimizing In Vitro Maturation (IVM) of Oocytes Using Granulosa and Cumulus Cell-Derived Extracellular Vesicles and 3D-Printed Follicular Niches" (GAP000678). The PI is Dr. P Chandra Shekar.

Eligibility

• Essential: Post-graduate degree, including integrated PG degrees, in Biotechnology or Life sciences.
• Upper age limit: 35 years. Relaxation as per CSIR / Government of India guidelines. Age is counted on the last date of receipt of online applications.
• Desirable: Prior experience in cell culture, embryo culture and fluorescence microscopy is stated as essential in the job description. The selected candidate will work on cell biology, embryology and reproductive biology, and perform cell biology and microscopy.
• Candidates still pursuing or awaiting results of their degree will not be considered.

Fellowship / pay

Rs. 56,000 + HRA (as applicable) per month. The engagement will not go beyond the project tenure.
