About the position

CSIR-CMERI Centre of Excellence for Farm Machinery (CoEFM), Ludhiana, invites candidates for Senior Project Associate. The post is under R&D projects on Smart Farm Machines and Technologies. Selection is by walk-in interview. The number of posts is not stated for this post.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical / Agricultural / Mechatronics / Computer Science / Electronics from a recognized university or equivalent, and 3 years' experience in Research and Development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organizations and scientific activities and services.
• OR Masters / Integrated Masters in Mechanical / Agricultural / Mechatronics / Computer Science / Electronics Engineering or Technology from a recognized university, and 2 years' experience in the same.
• Desirable: proficiency in mechanical design, CAD/CAE tools, experience in prototype development and engineering, and validation of agricultural machinery. OR programming knowledge in C/C++/Python for image processing and AI applications in agriculture.
• Age limit and qualification are reckoned on the date of interview. Age relaxation as per Government of India / CSIR rules.
• Candidates with 6 years or more of engagement in CSIR labs are not eligible.

Fellowship / pay

Rs. 42,000/- + HRA. House rent allowance is not paid where hostel accommodation is used. Tenure is co-terminus with the project and may be extended or curtailed.
