Research Associate (RA-I), Chemistry at IACS Kolkata

About the position

IACS Kolkata invites applications for one Research Associate-I (RA-I) post in the School of Applied & Interdisciplinary Sciences. The work is under Professor Somobrata Acharya. The post is temporary and open to Indian nationals. Duration is 6 months or completion of the research work.

Eligibility

• Ph.D. degree with a good overall academic record.
• Desired past research experience: synthesis of organic compounds, supramolecular chemistry, molecular self-assembly, chirality and chiroptical materials, functional amphiphiles, lipid-membrane interactions, stimuli-responsive soft materials.
• The applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Fellowship / pay

As per institute rules. The position is purely temporary and gives no right to claim any post in the institute.
