Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Architecture, Planning and Design at IIT (BHU) Varanasi

About the position

IIT (BHU) Varanasi is hiring a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Architecture, Planning and Design. The post is under an ANRF PMECRG funded research project on advancing innovative zero-energy water building technologies. The Principal Investigator is Dr. EVS Kiran Kumar Donthu, Department of Architecture, Planning and Design. The tenure is three years and/or co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility

• Master's Degree (M.Tech./M.Arch/MS Research) or equivalent in relevant disciplines with 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) in the qualifying degree.
• Desirable skills: building energy and energy system modelling and simulation, experimental setup and prototype making.
• The candidate could have an opportunity to enrol for a Ph.D. after fulfilling the required criteria as per the PG Ordinance of IIT (BHU).

Fellowship / pay

• Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA.
• For three years and/or co-terminus with the project.
