Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Civil Engineering at IIT Roorkee

About the position

IIT Roorkee invites applications for one Junior Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow position in Civil Engineering. The post is under the DRDO sponsored project "Centrifuge and Numerical Modelling of Underground Explosions in Soils". The Principal Investigator is Prof. Akanksha Tyagi. The tenure is 3 years.

Eligibility

• B.Tech. in Civil Engineering (min CGPA 7.0/10 or 70%) and M.Tech. in Geotechnical Engineering/Soil Dynamics (min CGPA 6.5/10 or 65%) with GATE qualification.
• Indian nationals only.
• Preference is given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
• The selected candidate may get an opportunity for PhD admission.

Fellowship / pay

Rs. 37000 - Rs. 42000 + HRA.
