About the position

IIT Guwahati invites applications for Research Scientist-I in an ICMR project. The project is "Centre for Advanced Research on Bioengineered In Vitro Liver Models for evaluation of Hepatotropic Infections and Therapeutics". The post is in the Jyoti and Bhupat Mehta School of Health Sciences and Technology. The Principal Investigator is Prof. Biman B Mandal. There is 1 post for 11 months.

Eligibility

• PhD in Biotechnology / Biological Sciences / Bioengineering / Biomedical and related biological sciences.
• Experience in tissue engineering, cell culture, stem cell culture, analytical and biological techniques.
• Candidates with experience in tissue engineering and biomaterials get preference.

Fellowship / pay

• Recommended pay: Rs. 56,000
• HRA: Rs. 11,200
• Total: Rs. 67,200.00
• Duration: 11 months
• No campus accommodation. No TA/DA for the test or interview.
