Project Associate-I (PA-I), Mechanical Engineering at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad

About the position

IIT (ISM) Dhanbad invites applications for one Project Associate-I position in Mechanical Engineering. The post is under the CIL (CMPDI) sponsored R & D project "Pilot scale paste backfilling to evaluate the effectiveness of paste fill technology in conventional bord and pillar coal mining working using ILHD/SDL". The Principal Investigator is Dr. Santosh Kumar Behera. The tenure is a maximum of 6 months or till 28.02.2027.

Eligibility

• Essential qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Desirable qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Age limit: 35 years (maximum).
• Job description: preparation of backfilling plant 2D drawings and 3D model.
• Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview.

Fellowship / pay

• ₹31,000/- + HRA for scholars selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests, CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE, or (b) a selection process through national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
• ₹25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under the above, as per IIT (ISM) rules.
