About the position
BRIC-NABI Mohali is recruiting one Research Associate (RA-3) for the project "Functional evaluation and silencing of selected fructan content related wheat genes, and estimation of fructan prebiotic/bloating potential" (GAP-109). The post is under Principal Investigator Dr. Monika Garg (Scientist F) in the Food and Nutritional Biotechnology division.

Eligibility
PhD in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genomics, Plant Breeding, Genetics or Life Sciences with computational experience; or M.Tech/M.Sc in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology/Computer Science/Statistics with three years of relevant research experience and at least one SCI-indexed research paper. The post is reserved for highly experienced candidates with productive postdoctoral research or advanced technical proficiency beyond the basic PhD requirement. Age limit 40 years, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PD and women candidates as per GOI instructions.
Fellowship / pay
Rs. 67,000 per month plus HRA, as applicable for Research Associate III, as per DST OM No. DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated 26.06.2023.
