Research Associate (RA), Life Sciences (Project Research Scientist-II) at THSTI Faridabad

About the position

BRIC-THSTI, Faridabad, invites walk-in applications for one post of Project Research Scientist-II in Life Sciences. The post is under the project on regulation and functional dissection of RelBE toxin-antitoxin systems in Mycobacterium tuberculosis pathophysiology. The Principal Investigator is Dr. Ramandeep Singh. The post is short-term and tied to the project tenure.

Eligibility

• PhD (awarded) in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized university, with experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, animal handling or immunology, as supported by research publication(s) or project thesis.
• Age limit: 40 years.
• Job description: preparation of recombinant plasmids, culturing of Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains in the BSL-3 laboratory, and setting up biochemical, immunological and cell-based assays.

Fellowship / pay

Rs. 67,000/- plus HRA (monthly consolidated emoluments).
