Research Associate (RA), Management and Social Sciences at IIM Mumbai

About the position

IIM Mumbai invites applications for one full time Research Associate. The post is for a sponsored project titled "Research on Pathways and Barriers to Women's Career Progression in STEM". The project is sponsored by Parity Consulting and Training Private Limited. The work covers literature review, interviews, surveys, experiments and report writing.

Eligibility

• Essential: post-graduation in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, or an MBA in Human Resources.
• Desired: M.Phil. or PhD.
• Desired: understanding of the corporate context and a good quantitative background, with proficiency in conducting survey research and experiments. Experience in qualitative research (focus groups and interviews) is an added advantage.
• Skills: research and problem-solving aptitude, written and verbal communication, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, systematic literature review. Working knowledge of SPSS and AMOS is an added advantage.
• Age is not a criterion.
• Positions: one.

Fellowship / pay

• Rs. 35,000–40,000 per month (consolidated), depending on experience and qualifications.
• The amount is fixed on the recommendation of the selection committee.
• IIM Mumbai does not provide hostel accommodation for this post.
• Employment is temporary for 89 days, which may be extended up to fifteen months.
